Because the government is trying to impose frivolous laws regarding health. Truckers work, get this, inside trucks. Usually alone all day. They are safer than anyone. Canadas big brother government is totalitarian as time goes on and that’s when you protest.

Truckers are the road. I don’t bite the hand that feeds me. They have a legitimate complaint and are marginalized by the media. If I lived there I’d be annoyed as hell but more at the pompous politicians enriching themselves, breaking the rules they impose, and generally ruining the quality of life for millions of people. Government overreach is a serious issue and has been for all civilized society. It’s one you actually are supposed to be willing to sacrifice comfort for to maintain freedom and personal liberty. If you’re afraid of covid, get a shot, wear a mask, and leave everyone else alone.
