I worked for an oil and gas company for the entirety of Trump's presidency. Gas prices didnt start to rise other than normal fluctuation until the Colonial ransomware fiasco which cost them about 5 million dollars and sent other companies scrambling to update their security. This happened while trump was still in office by the way.
Im actually surprised gas is starting to go down this soon. But instead of thanking Joe Biden for that, I guess it's all his fault for for the prices going up in the first place.
Hello!
- The first step Biden took when taking office was to close a key pipeline that put thousands on unemployment and increased gas prices almost instantly. On average $0.50 a month increase. It was one of his 30+ executive orders.
- What you are referencing happened last May, so I'd need help understanding how he was still in office at the time when Biden was sworn in during January 2021. The gas prices were rising before that as well, as a result of my first point.
- It's not going down, actually, but it continues to go up per the national average reports.
- Why wouldn't I criticize Joe Biden for something he did that causes harm to working Americans in favor of those who are able-bodied but simply choose not to (disabled and retired not included)?
