You're right I don't know but in conjunction with those studies additional studies of groups using masks and not using masks saw significantly less spread in the groups using masks so therefor its fairly reasonable to conclude that whatever the approximate reduction is, is that its enough to reduce spread.

This has also been done a million times at this point.

to add to this even a slight reduction in spread of a virus this contagious stops a ton of overall cases from stacking up at one time

lab experiments use a clean dry mask. but that is not real world. masks hit moisture saturation point in 15 to 30 minutes. from there your gurgling through moisture trapped in the masks matrix.

so change masks every 15-30 minutes? it is already estimated 1.6 billion masks into the oceans and thats outdated data. even worse is the blue medical masks are a particularly nasty pollution.

This is incorrect. You don't need to know anything about the particle numbers. You just need to observe infections.

There are dozens of studies going from individual case studies all the way to society wide epidemiological studies that all show masks reduce spread.

It is beyond reproach at this point that masks are effective because of how strong and multi-layered the data is just from the past two years.

No, that is not how the studies are conducted. Its over a period of time and regular use of masks.
