Sorry bro, fear sells. Time to lock everything down again and hide in our homes.

The online reports are saying it effects children much worse (like early reports of delta) but I haven’t seen anybody of relevance say that yet.

Few things: reinfection rare
If a reinfection happens, you have 90% less chance of being hospitalized. Technically 100% effective against ICU or death but the sample size is pretty small. Only 1300 infections analyzed.
Study was based on early data before delta was prevalent.

IMO, this is really the end game here. Once everyone has had covid (possibly more than once), this will go to a background type disease. The goal in the mean time is to get everyone vaccinated and protect hospitals against surges. As a side note, this isn't necessarily a good thing or something I want. Its going to kill a lot of people as it works through the population and we should take as many steps as we can to minimize that.

Really doesn't help so many dumbasses have their tinfoil hats on scared of needles

Watch those who have received the vax be at higher risk.

People under the age of 40 are more likely to die from myocarditis than COVID. Learn math, you condescending bitch rofl

There is not, and never was an actual scenario in which the so called authorities were ever going to say "hey you guys did a great job! Restrictions lifted now!"

Literally impossible.

If you think that would ever happen if just a few more people would get poked, you are living in a dream world, and not the kind where you're surrounded by giant fat women

In short you don't want to be vaccinated and need justification for it

There are plenty of reasonable arguments for not getting vaccinated, the most obvious one that at this point in time even the most supportive of “everybody needs to get vaccinated for Covid” have to admit that the vaccination doesn’t do much, if anything when it comes to transmission. They have to concede the vaccinated are still likely to contract and transmit. The main argument is that it helps you get less sick.

The argument has become you have to take the shots and now boosters (incoming new definition of fully vaccinated) to protect yourself regardless of your health and personal risk assessment.

Totally irrelevant to what I said.

They were going to lockdown, restrict, mandate no matter what. Covid will never "end". They never plan on letting it end. It had literally nothing to so with vaccine holdouts.

Technically, nothing works.

That said, as a stalling tactic, many countries have used travel restrictions to assist with other measures to tamper down cases, hospitalizations and deaths.

If Omicron is really bad and we have to switch up our vaccines to help tamp it down, buying a few weeks will save a lot of lives.

Your argument is similar to "Well if I clean my room, it's just going to get dirty again anyways, so why bother cleaning my room?"
