If there's a riot over 100 miles away and I show up with a bunch of guys who posted on Facebook that they were going to shoot some rioters, and we just wait for somebody to attack us, we don't get to claim self defense. This isn't a hard concept. You clearly demonstrated your intention to engage in violence. Kind of hard to say "it's self defense" when you've already shown your goal is to shoot people.

Because they has no point in the case besides a minor moving a gun accross the state lines.

The facts are. Kyle was chased and hunted down FACT. Kyle was shot first at and grabbed by a mob FACT. Even after kyle ran to deescalate the mob continuted to chase him and point guns at him.

This is in fact self defence. You're blinded by the we vs them mentality. Very simple minded. Did you watch the New York Times video I posted? Bet not. You just want to plug your ears and believe whatever fits your weak views of what people tell you to think. Imagine wanting to sound superiorly moral and just looking like a crying baby.

When it happened I bet my friend he would get off on self defence and a slap on the wrist for crossing boarder lines with a firearm.

He was in complete disagreement with me and thought the actions did not warrant his reaction.

He was guarding somebody else's property in a different state with an illegally posessed gun and was transported there by people who's explicit stated purpose was to enact violence on the rioters.

I'm not saying he won't get off on self defense, but it's not a slam dunk. They're gonna have to work for it.
