Nubia was conquered by Egypt and taken into the empire in ~1500BC. Even prior to that Egypt had extensive contact with Nubia.

Egypt was thriving for literally thousands of years while Europe was a back-water and Rome didn't even exist.

Dude you can't be serious. You realize that white people could also go to Africa, right? I am not denying that Africa is mainly inhabited by black people, however, there were also Europeans too, considering how Europe was not very far from Africa.
