Sure, but that happens under capitalism too. Our highways were basically paved over minority and poor neighborhoods that were taken under eminent domain.

Really? They weren't compensated at all? The land was just taken from them by force?

That doesn't tell the complete story.

Those 'minority' neighborhoods (whites live there too, btw - if you didn't realize it) are simply moved a little further in one direction or the other. It is only necessary to remove the delipidated and blighted buildings to replace them with new, job producing ones that eventually benefit said minorities (and poor white people) who lived there before.

That is a far cry from Stalin coming to your farm and saying "guess what, bitch - I own this shit now, lol get lost."

What is "common knowledge," that they are not compensated? They are compensated.

Go look into the history of The Tulsa Massacre. When the whites thought the blacks were getting too successful they literally burned and bombed the entire neighborhood and built a highway over it.

That's just a prominent example, but it's far from isolated. That kind of thing happened all over the country and was actively removed from textbooks and history sources.

The problem with that example also is that it points out an example of racism, not an inherent flaw with capitalism.

Really shitty situation under any system for sure. Then again I don't live with that fear/concern in most capitalist societies.. can't say the same for my Venezuelan brothers and sisters.

Next you'll be telling me that capitalism didn't support slavery either, that was "just the racism".

Capitalism actively supports divides because it keeps workers and owners separated, and owners want to split the working class so they can keep them from working together.
