gotta love the selective outrage. do you guys honestly believe this would have gone any differently if a republican had won the election (except from maybe staying a couple more years)?
maybe look at all the other failed US wars, they always leave heaps of equipment behind.

the "funniest" part about the current spin - suggesting it was just left behind for the taliban to pick up, when the US rather "should of [sic] bombed" it - is that it was intended for the afghan army to use and defend against the taliban, and not just abandoned in perfect condition for anyone who wants to grab it.

really amusing to see how easily ignorant americans are fooled by such lazy propaganda. was it (the whole campaign, obviously including the withdrawal) a massive failure and "miscalculation"? obviously, but the attempt to spin this into a "evil joe biden is actively arming the taliban / chinese / russians while simultaneously grabbing guns from righteous americans" narrative is blatantly stupid, partisan hackery - but the usual suspects are uncritically eating that shit up - hook, line, and sinker...

Can you explain that a little more? I don't know what kind of equipment that would entail or what kind of information it may have.

That depends on the specific piece of equipment. At the most basic, squad level tactical communications hardware. Imagine a military adversary who can listen in, real time, to tactical orders being given over local comms networks. At the other end, it could mean decryption hardware that might be used to intercept orders or comms between local commands and the Pentagon.

You know what you could have said? You could have just said "is that it was intended for the afghan army to use and defend against the taliban" and left off all the rest. Instead, you posted all the rest, acting like the insufferable douchebag that you are. You have a serious character defect. Try working on it.

an "insufferable douchebag" would try to police what others post in a forum, trying to pressure them into leaving the inconvenient part out because they are triggered / exposed by it. try not to be like that, kid.

every generation there is an angry little german ranting about other nations and races in an attempt to start a fight

fortunately this generation’s is fender aka heinrich von goebbels who lives in a dresden gutter. much better than say a kaiser or a fuhrer who unfortunately had actual warmongering ability
