Completely missed the plot.

America has been pounding the Taliban back to the stoneage - only to 'pull out' and let them restock with American funded weapons for decades. Mark my words - once the Taliban achieve total control of Afghanistan, Biden will announce a humanitarian crisis and we will be right back in the shit, bombing the fuck out of those Humvees we just gave the Taliban. (But not before said Humvees are used to take over civilian populations and rape/murder women and children, of course.)

More war economy bull shit that will continue to ruin lives.

America *hasn't* been pounding the Taliban back to the stone age.

All the battlefield prowess in the world isn't going to change the fact that we didn't know who to shoot, whether to shoot, why to shoot, etc. We didn't change the culture, so it was always impossible to "win." It's long past time we left, we were never going to change them. Let them build their own society.

We definitely blasted them back to the stone age - lmfao. They were literally living in caves.

But I also see what you're saying. When dealing with a terrorist faction, there are diminishing returns in how much you can "win" against them - if they refuse to surrender and are just bleeding out your time and resources by continuing to tunnel into the ground - waging a campaign of harassment. We will never truly "beat" terrorism - that is certain.

The Taliban have roots in the rural regions, enforced by brutal local control, that makes the insurgency very hard to defeat without resorting to tactics last seen in the American-Philippine war. We obviously aren't willing to torch villages that support the Taliban, whereas the Taliban are willing to cut off village heads who collaborate with the American backed government.

the west could stay there for another 40 years without changing anything, the taliban wont go away, they clearly have overwhelming support

this conflict was kept low intensity on purpose to fill the pockets of the military industrial complex, nobody ever gave a shit about really changing anything in afghanistan

past time to go, good job for once joe

the only issue i have is leaving that much material behind, but it cant be helped i guess

ffs we spent 20 years training afghans and they drop their weapons faster than the french

the mistake is trying to kill rats, the solution is to cure the diseases they carry.

My problem isn't that we can't beat the idea of terrorism.

My problem is that I know we will be back for more.

Americans lost that war . Taliban are stronger than ever. Was it worth it to bankrupt America over 9/11 inside jobs?

in order to beat the talibans, you would need to exterminate them, but that would be against "human rights".

on the other hand, talibans are exterminating the civilian population because they don't care about "human rights".

you can't win when comparing apples with oranges.

You know what's worst than eliminating the taliban and cost more?

Locking down your whole country for a fake virus and forcing people to take the jab to pay back the money that was printed to drop bombs on families abroad.

AMERICA FUCK YEAH! (Amirite?)

Oh the guy is from Montreal? So a Canadian.

Canadian are smart. They know how to use stupid fucks or non white people.
