Isn't this extremely subjective anyway?

The best country for someone with entrepreneurial tendencies might not be the same as the best country for someone who wants a calm office job, which might still be different from the best country for someone with a severe disability.

Personally I have spent long stretches of my life in Belgium, the Netherlands, Finland, Switzerland and Texas. Out of those, I'd pick Finland for the high social security and the big emphasis on employee rights.

Locations are too generalized i'd say.

How are your military-enforced lockdowns aided by drone surveillance going?

Norway and Switzerland are the best countries in the world imho. Can't really decide between the two. Denmark is really based too. Then come places like the Netherlands, Canada, Austria and New Zealand. Germany is also really nice if you have a good job, but I'd put it below the others because we have a larger share of precarious jobs and really retarded politics.

I think I'd rather go to Switzerland. Competent governance, neutrality, guns.

Canada is still one of the most respected Country. Our main problem is known as Trudeau. We're taking him out next Election but you never win in politic if you're "the people". As for the rest, crime rate low, murders low %, we owns metric tons of firearms yet barely any public shooting. We can count them on one hand.

Who's taking him out. Erin? Doubtful. While I'd like it to go blue I have significant doubts.

I always wanted to live in the Kootenays but not anymore ill never leave the north. Infinate freedom and no red tape or granola people trying to tell me where and what I can do.

switzerland and norway are top for me

switzerland is nice and clean, well paid jobs, reasonable taxes and the best example for actual democracy

norway is just doing it right and the difference between other high tax countries and norway is that you actually get proper benefits there

germany has no business whatsoever on such a list, are you fucking kidding me?

this country is not affordable, has a trash job market, the highest taxes, anti family, garbage public education and way too expensive healthcare for the service you get

There's many different ways to calculate quality of life.

1 Finland 99.06
2 Denmark 98.13
3 Norway 96.75
4 Belgium 96.53
5 Sweden 96.15
6 Switzerland 94.4
7 Netherlands 93.69
8 France 92.08
9 Germany 91.26
10 Japan 91.23
11 United Kingdom 90.68
12 Canada 90.3
13 South Korea 89.67
14 United States 89.11

another one (still 2021)

Norway
Switzerland
Australia
Ireland
Germany
Iceland
Sweden
Hong Kong
Singapore
The Netherlands

There's also "best countries" or "countries with best services", even countries with best life expectancy, figure out.

Country with best opportunities why not.

Topic is bullshit.

(to be honnest: north europe, certainly not netherlands because it will be totally flooded: Norway maybe)

Sorry, this is according to * The 2021 Best Countries rankings, formed in partnership with BAV Group and the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania * not a random internet search for “best country” like you are showing.

It clearly states in the intro what factors are taken into consideration for QOL (obvious). I’m sorry if you don’t like it or have a personal quarrel with any of the top 10 countries but that doesn’t change anything.

Thanks for the post! it’s not subjective when considering the QOL factors stated. But it is totally up to each individual as to which of these countries they would choose.
