Some people get crazy sick from Covid, just like some people get crazy sick from the flu.

We have a lot of flu death representation from ages 0-25, as well - we have never written a fear mongering news article about that.


I don't have to go over the statistics on Covid's mortality rate again, because I showed that extensively when I eviscerated weeb samus' anus in previous posts, but I will simply reiterate that more than 98% of Covid cases are defeated within 1-2 weeks and without long term issues. And that is of the cases that we even know about - I wonder how many Covid cases simply went unreported and silently defeated because the person who caught it didn't even think to report it.

Imagine all of the asymptomatic people who didn't even realize they had it - those cases would drastically cull the mortality rate to even lower levels, exactly on par with the flu.

My partner missed a month of work and had all these weird health conditions she didn't have before, has had to see specialist, is finally looking normal again. We're talking mid 30's.

When I say partner I mean at work. I would never refer to my wife as my partner lol, we don't own a law firm together.

I wish people would stop comparing covid with the flu lol. On a strong year the flu might kill 70k people in America, usually its like 35k. Whenever people say "its like a flu" I think Jesus Christ we need common core because my countrymen can't do math anymore and its embarrassing.

Im vaccinated with tried, tested and true vaccines against actual deadly viruses. Comparing COVID to POLIO or MEASLES or HEPATITIS is fucking retarded. Like comparing smoking a joint to injecting fentanyl with a rusty aids infested syringe.

Why would I take an experimental jab for something I have a 0.0001% chance of dying from? I have a greater chance of health problems from the vaccine than from COVID at my age. These are not the typical vaccines of old my friend.

My mom and stepdad are great, my dad I havent talked to in about 10 years. Theyre vaccinated in their 50s - I dont blame them for being concerned. Its more than a cold for them because theyre not 30 years old.
My grandma thinks I should get vaccinated to keep her safe. Realistically she'll be dead in the next 2 years anyways with her health complications, sorry grandma, but its your time.

e/ I dont think for a second anything shouldve ever locked down, especially for as long as it did. Young peoples futures ruined. The people who coasted through this are the older people who had reserved capital, already retired or soon to be retired, ahd pensions, etc. The people suffering from lockdowns are young people who need to work to live and start their life. If the choice is between ruining young people and letting old people die, let the old people die.

When I say that Covid is like the flu, I am comparing the mortality rates - which are virtually identical.

The long term health effects of having had Covid and beaten it are still largely unmapped and vague - many people have been incorrectly correlating pre existing conditions to Covid or even embellishing their Covid symptoms as an excuse to skip out on work. Either way, Covid has not existed long enough for us to have a proper understanding of its long term effects.

Covid killed more than a half million Americans in one year. The flu needs decades to kill that many people. You are failing to recognize something that is orders of magnitude larger than another thing.

It's interesting to see how similar it is to the "climate always changes" argument. Since "it always happens" that must mean any time it happens at any rate must also be normal.

I recognize that and also recognize that its not so simple as you're making it out to be.

Covid does seem to be more infectious, but it carries the same mortality rate as the flu does and that means once we've all had a round with it - it will be rendered exactly as benign as the flu is, pending any provable long term issues on a massive scale.

Im saying 30 is YOUNG, im young and healthy! my natural immune response is more than enough to keep me safe from COVID. Why would I take a jab for it when im young and strong?
