They are actually being triggered by schools teaching accurate US history. They want schools to teach the positives of chattel slavery and Jim crow. They are seriously engaged in this battle and believe that white Americans have been fair and just to America's minorities and things like the Tulsa race massacre should be covered up.

Anything negative about America is considered anti-American - another popular fear-mongering buzzword.
