I live here in NW DC. They tweeted ahead of time that they'd be doing this. They're just doing training there instead of in PG county like they usually do because of what happened on Jan 6th. This is a nothing burger.

They did indeed let everyone know ahead of time. Why on earth would they train low flying with blackhawks simply because of what happened on Jan 6th? You dont need blackhawks to stop civilians.

Maybe they do. Capitol police certainly weren't enough on January 6th were they?

No they werent enough but since then security has been beefed up. National Guard would be sufficient. Or even normal helicopters that shoot highly pressurized water down on rioters. IDK... however using killing machines like blackhawks is very strange.

Although it could be part of the July 4 celebration somehow? idk
