How is it "forcing private enterprises" to do anything? Why are professional sports receiving subsidies in the first place? Why did tax payers provide hundreds of millions of dollars for Dallas Stadium? Why are tax payers being forced to fund "private enterprises"?

If professional sports don't want to play the national anthem in Texas, they don't have to. Even if/when the bill passes. But if they're not going to show respect to the nation that's funding them, then it's well within the rights of the State to stop providing tax payers' dollars to those "private institutions".
