I don't think we need an investigation on this. Unless somebody can point out something that actually needs investigating? It's pretty obvious this came from Trump's bullshit and unwillingness to concede the election and willingness to tell bold face lies to his supporters.

Still, it's not a good look when Republicans investigated Benghazi for years despite multiple Republican-lead committees confirming no wrongdoing and then going against this. When I was growing up we had a saying. Turnabout is fair play. It seems Republicans, and some Germans like Black, don't seem to understand that.

frankly i dont support the investigation because its not likely to find a criminally causal link to anyone, and will just end up as a political grand stand for months on end like the Mueller investigation which i predicted would fall flat well before it started, just how it shook out, with a few scapegoats getting club med sentences and Trump walking away clean.

we are already prosecuting those that did it physically with felonies, giving congresspeople a censure for gaslighting low IQ on the spectrum idiots isnt worth tax money.

The GOP is just making this difficult on themselves. It's better to have equal representation on the commission and we need to know why the Capitol Police failed so miserably. Should the commission fail in its current iteration, a House Select Panel will be created (or perhaps a Joint Panel). The truth will come out one way or another.

it should be obvious why they failed, approaching White men were wearing camo and nearly impossible to see until it was too late. Black people wear hunter's orange FUBU shirts and are just plain easier to see.
