You absolutely should use honorifics. The reason why I got a MS instead of a PhD is because I preferred be called Master over Doctor.

The vast majority of Bachelors projects, and even Master's theses, are effectively a formality within the Ivory Tower that is academia. A tremendous amount of 'research' is being done that effectively results in nothing more than checking a box off a graduation requirement and padding someone's CV.
