Canada's healthcare certainly isn't free. It's free if you're low income and not losing over 50% of your income to taxes. The USA also has high taxes but clearly there's significant administrative issues since there's been no system anywhere near as close as Canada's implemented.

I don't think any high income earners would tout Canada's healthcare as free.

The GTA is disgusting right now. Even places like rural BC are exploding. Nelson, Revelstoke, Fernie, Golden, Kimberly Salmon Arm.

All those places were so desirable now people are leaving Vancouver and even Kelowna to them.

Halifax has always been expensive relative to the rest of Nova Scotia but as of the last year it's absolutely taken off as well. One of the hottest markets right now.

I can't imagine what students going to Dalhousie, Saint Mary's and the Mount are having to pay in rent.
