you can question the interpretation of the 2nd amendment but the due process aspect of the 4th amendment is above interpretation. restriction of rights or removal of them must be retroactive to misbehavior, not proactive.

paperwork takes minutes and is not invasive. a psych eval is both time consuming, requires u to leave your house, invasive, and also ineffectual.

how long until someone posts "guide of what to say to get approved in your gun psych test" online and psychopaths can just follow a general script to get around it? and then we spent millions making a test that someone can google their way around.
