Romney is actually well positioned. The question is whether it's still possible to run as a center-right figure.

The US are actually doing quite well, vaccinations well underway which is the only real solution if there's one.

Again, ask fender about it and how well the "superior" EU is doing. He prolly won't answer though, it's a sore spot

I was referring to his first major legislative proposal which is very popular. I don't obsess over the identity politics stuff like the right-wing does.

The latter option is harder for me to defend to be honest. I feel like Trump set the precedent for that style of campaign to kind of come out of nowhere, especially if history repeats itself and the primary is filled with several weaker candidates that allow for someone to create separation from. I feel like the Republican party might do itself a favor by rallying behind a smaller number of candidates early on to prevent someone like Trump from succeeding in the primaries but I can understand that individual egos definitely get in the way of this. Depending on how Biden does perhaps it would be better for them to build someone up for the 2028 election.

That date seems so God damned far away though it is almost a waste of time to even try and pretend like anyone has an idea on what'll happen then.

wait... you just said we need to revive the economy.. is it doing well or not?
Or is it now getting better as Biden is pushing the vaccine effort.
US has about 30k per more than the UK and we are more geographically diverse AND we have more money.
the US response under trump was horrible and worse than the UK

You were saying before the election that Biden doesn't engage in this stuff, and "leaves it on Twitter". Now Biden is openly engaging in Twitter speak on a national platform. Sometimes we're wrong.
