This. They may have some common interests but differ on many.

It's like lumping white supremacists in with all Republicans.

Sure they may agree on certain points but disagree on many others.

The difference is in the size and scope of the respective movements.

Antifa and BLM, combined, are rather large, and they intersect with a viable movement within the Democratic party. White supremacists are an ostracized fringe group firmly outside of the Overton window.

We literally have Qanon supporters in the Republican party on the federal level.

Extremely concerning, but I wasn't aware that Q-anon was associated with white supremacism.

Just like my earlier posts, There are going to be some White supremacist in any group that leans to the far right. Just like you can find Antifa scattered into groups trying to push progressive causes.

White supremacists' may share common interests with Qanon, but not all in Qanon condone white supremecy, just like not all progressive condone Antifa damaging private property during protests.

It only takes like 20 minutes in IRL conversation to get Qanoners or flat earthers to start talking about the jews.

I think we're conflating "racist" with "white supremacist". I know that is becoming more the norm these days, but I see a significant difference between racial prejudice and calling for the violent subjugation of an "inferior race".

It's one of those things where they won't include the white supremacy bits into their "official Qanon stuff", but it's all there as very thinly veiled dog-whistles.

I mean, the Q stuff all comes from 4chan. That alone should be enough to pass the smell test lol
