Yeah the first one calling for "unrest" is the only one that can even be kind of argued to condone rioting, but most people would say that a protest is "unrest in the streets" so even that's a stretch.

Republicans universally condemned Trump for inciting a riot, although if prosecutors are to be believed, Trump did not incite, and this was instead a planned event.

Democrats refuse to condemn Democratic politicians for inciting violence.

protesting unjust rule is OK

McCarthy made clear to Democrats that he could deliver the entirety / almost the entirety of the Republican House to publicly censure Trump for his role in the riot.

Democrats didn't want a bipartisan condemnation, because they preferred to move ahead with an impeachment vote that will tie up Biden's first few months in office.

I highly doubt he could get almost the entirety of House Republicans to vote for a censure.

Democrats responded proportionally to the action. It's not their fault if Republicans are part of a death cult.

My view is Dem control of senate + an impeachment trial will go more smoothly than Republican control of senate w/o an impeachment trial. And why would it take 3 months? It should go quickly.
