There are plenty of social media outlets to choose from, and others will let him use more key strokes.
It is applicable, and you're argument is more like comparing menus between restaurants, and is very entitled. Twitter doesn't have a monopoly over social media. Trump is cozy with Zuck, who lets him get away with all his excesses. You can even compare social media companies to sports teams and the analogy holds, instead of watching the Bengals just watch the Steelers and be a fag, etc.
The social media giants function as oligopolies that eschew direct competition and maintain their own spaces within the marketplace.
See Parler. Any new "Twitter" is going to have a lot of people who are unhappy with the status quo. Some of them are going to be nuts. The tech giants use that as an excuse to deplatform, which prevents competition from forming.
This is exactly the sort of situation that conservatives and liberals use to agree on, but "owning Trump" has you guys bending over asking for more.
