This is false. Go back and watch the video. He was talking during the entire episode. I don't know if you've ever been choked out, but you can't talk, mate.
He died of a Fentanyl overdose. And he was on the ground because he refused to enter the cruiser. His death was sad and potentially avoidable, but he was not choked out at any point.
Further, the very training of that precinct indicated that in that situation, those very methods should be followed.
I thought, when I first watched the video, like you think. I was wrong. You are too. Go back and watch it, and if you don't understand what it means to actually be choked, find a friend willing to give you a lesson. It's an easy learn.
