Some of the Capitol Police should be investigated for dereliction of duty. Law and order means being mob agnostic in your duties and having a pair. That being said, the security in general seemed intentionally low given the build up and rhetoric. Makes the whole country look pathetically weak to externals.

The area was fenced off so it is considered trespassing at that point. I don't know what you are on about.. they do not have the right when cops are surrounding the building and told them they weren't permitted to enter the premises . No amount of mental gymnastics changes that fact .

"This may be a publicly owned building, but I decree it off limits, therefore you cannot assemble!"

Nowhere in the Constitution. Sorry. I get that Dems want to make up rules to fit their narrative, but that's horse shit.

It was pointed out from the start that the response was clearly designed to be faulty. A fence and a handful of officers for crowds of tens of thousands? Any other time there would have been a solid wall of police with riot shields. What was Bowser doing?

Will it go to court? Every rioter in Portland with the exception of 1 who point blank executed somebody for the crime of... Uh... Being there? has been released without charges. Many MANY of them multiple times.

The case to make really needs to involve damages. When you see people complaining that "I was arrested for occupying in 2018" what they're not mentioning is they were released without charges the next day.

Damage or injury must occur. If 52 arrests over things such as weapons and explosives were made, there's both injury and intent. Everyone else? Occupying a public building is not in and of itself a crime. Sorry.

i know you people don't actually care about "law and order" when it's white terrorists attempting a coup, or committing other crimes, but your little "it's public property" talking point is just woefully uninformed and ignorant.

it's violation of federal law to trespass on restricted government buildings, and a felony to do so with a deadly weapon.

so please, save your lazy whataboutisms and reflect on sympathising with seditionists. why do you hate america so much?

Honestly your opinion is invalid. Your ancestors literally caused a genocide by doing shit like this with the government.

It’s clearly opposite sides of the spectrum. Maybe if someone had the guts back then to storm in Germany the Jews would not have been taken to camps. How is your soy milk?

the key to the Nazi plan was to keep the real nature of the camps a secret, and also to keep info of the camps not only a secret from the world at large but also from German people.

hell, there are videos and photos of actual nazis and german citizens being shown footage of death camps, and they're horrified.

like i get it, nazis are bad, but u clearly need a history lesson. maybe tune into the history channel during WW2 month, idk.
