ETH network fees are absolutely brutal.

Wish I would have HODL, but on that XRP news I excited the crypto market. Those exchanges are making a killing on the tx fees, holy hell. There will be a level of fraud going on too that hasn't happened in a while. For example, anonymous accounts have volume limits tied to BTC not USD or another real currency.

Whenever the next dip happens, I'm going in again.

Edit:
Looks like the XRP situation is opening a door for a Coinbase class-action lawsuit.

that flash crash a few hours ago, gonna be a rocky week if not more it seems. network fees so high, a lot of crypto moving off exchanges, and a meteoric price increase over the last week or so its not sustainable

I expected worse tbh. Incredible that it's holding over €25k imo.

Agreed, this trend seems flimsy. Check the volume pre-rally and now (Nov-Dec vs Dec-Jan) and compare it to price action.

I wonder how much of this is related to USD being gutted. Probably a great time to have foreign denominated investments.

yeah the next stim pack and spending bill is gonna further decimate usd. with the stocks in full bubble/pump area too the big boys are probably looking to squeeze moar as usual wherever they can

im gonna move stuff to the sidelines gradually. very least park it in stables.

BTC at new ATH.

Put a small amount into LCX and YLD.

To the moon!

Seriously though, I'm wondering where this will lead. Will BTC become a value storage/hedge against USD like gold? I don't see it becoming competitive with regular currency (nor altcoins).

I had decided to cash out at €25k but it's at €28k before I got the chance :D

I think the fees are too high and the network too slow for it to be competitive as a digital currency. Certainly seems to be going the way of 'digital gold' imo.
