It's not like that, for them Satan it is just a myth and they don't recall God either.
"The Satanic attitude is that people should be judged by their own merit"
The overarching dogma is not about worshipping any external forces – real or spiritual – but instead worshipping oneself and doing everything in your power to achieve your potential.
I like that you are talking about Satanists in the third person, as if they are different from you and me.
If one day, I become famous I want to be quoted on this sentence: I can change my religion every second that passes, even several times a second.
The best way to judge a religion is to identify with a religion, to imagine yourself inside that religion.
Basically, it suffices to say "I am a Jew" to be a Jew. Rabbis, cures, priests, imams, try to make us believe that only they can convert us to a religion. But that's a horrible lie. A religion is above all something personal.
And the fact that you talk about Satanists in 3rd person over and over again proves that you don't have that kind of logic. And I find that regrettable.
My opinion is that we are all Satanists, at least for a short time in our lives.
And because of that, yes, Satanists believe in Satan.
This is what humans do best: put themselves in a situation. It is enough that I wish for a moment to believe in Satan, so that the next moment, I really believe in Satan.
Religion, beliefs, it's like Schtodinger's cat. They are constantly changing, and are very difficult to study!
