According to your interpretation of your source 17% of calls to the police in 2011 came from native americans.. stop and think about that for a second.. i know you are more intelligent than you are coming off here.

Also 75% of calls came from transgenders.. because male and female add up to about 25%..

It is percentage of those demographics who called the police.. Not percentage of police calls taken from those demographics..

13% calls male.. 12% female.. that leaves 75% that were neither..

No. That is just a stupid idea.

Nobody understands what "defund the police" means because it "means" so many different things for so many different people. We have a large subset who literally believes "defund the police" and makes that abundantly clear in media and elsewhere. We have a separate subset that doesn't believe in defunding the police, but continues to promote their proposed reforms under a moniker that literally (and redundantly) means "defund the police". That subset is incredibly stupid.

It means take the military levels of funding off inner city police and move it towards more social work, its a simple concept.

It is crazy that poor people are victims of crime more. Tell me about it?

Add think about all the cause that do not get made because people do not want to invite vampires into their home.




Just wanna quit wasting money where it isn't affective and put that money where could be more effective.

More money more mission. When it's a public service it is a moral demand.


Google mobile crisis and you will see a similar model. We have teams of social workers at work with the police and respond to mental illness cause and it works great. I think what people want is for smaller towns and more backward towns to adopt that modern approach to policing.

Get some skill and brains up in there.

You hear people making fun of having educated people work with the place but it is a good model.

The idea of using a certain % of funding towards public issues like...Homelessness.. mental health issues etc. Is a good idea and should happen.
I also don't think they really need tanks etc.
paying cops less, not giving funding for training or even increasing it, then reducing staff and having less people to do their jobs is a pretty bad idea.
