So they protest because the count is not fast enough ?

Wow, sad. Btw "typically" is maybe not applying like usual this time.

Arizona announced Wednesday they would be halting the count and resuming Friday. Near as I can tell, due to all the back and forth over WI/MI. But nobody asked or wanted them to, and protesters agreed and wanted them to continue counting, so we'd have results this week. It's not hard, mate. Don't know what you're inferring.

You must have missed the SharpieGate Memo.

Ballots in Arizona are thick as shit. Sharpies will not "bleed through" or invalidate them in any way. Every person who checked to make sure their sharpee-marked vote was counted (that had been gotten to) confirmed to both conservative and liberal news outlets that they were indeed counted. This is one of those verified hoax stories. Hence why, again, it does NOT make sense that Arizona would randomly "stop counting" for a couple days. Nobody's looking to challenge their count. Everything's good to go, just finish your job, you know?

I agree with you and i think we're arguing the same thing.

I don't believe that sharpies caused a problem, or most of the other BS that's coming out of both corners. Just finish the votes so the losing side can sue and we can move on with our lives.

I will retain this:

"a record number of early and provisional ballots that’s squeezing the system."

I guess because these people need to have a rest. Sleep.

I also noticed something interesting: demographics:

You'll need to clarify your question. I've already told you what provisional ballots are. "Early" ballots would be mail and absentee. Dunno what's special about the demographics at all.

It has been for a long time. For all people want to shit themselves over how often we voted Arpaio and McCain back into office, voting in Maricopa County was always a split thing. Arizona in general is a purple state, and Maricopa county is the most purple of all. Nobody was shocked when a Dem was elected to McCain's spot.

Oddly, Maricopa County also sees the greatest melding of Dem/Rep in any place I've been outside the rural midwest. No screaming at each other, losing of minds, nothing. Just conversations. Long as life's going good, all's well.

Just came across this article, seems the trump supporters want to keep counting votes in some places and stop counting them in others. I would expect this kind of hypocrisy from politicans but I'm surprised to find large demographics of people behave this way too.

https://www.businessinsider.com/videos-trump-protesters-michigan-arizona-vote-count-2020-11

Supporters of President Donald Trump chanted both "count those votes" and "stop the count" outside ballot-counting sites in two different states.

As of Thursday morning, ballots were still being counted in key states. Trump baselessly claimed victory in the presidential election early Wednesday morning, claiming there was "major fraud on our nation," without providing evidence.

...

Videos published online Wednesday showed crowds pushing to get inside the TCF Center in Detroit where votes were being counted earlier that day.

One, posted to Twitter by the Washington Post photojournalist Salwan Georges, showed Trump supporters inside the center chanting "stop the count" and "stop the vote."

...

Across the country, about 200 Trump fans amassed outside the Maricopa County Election Center in Phoenix late Wednesday night, chanting "count those votes" — the opposite of the chants made in Detroit the same day.

Chants of "Fox News sucks" also rang out from the crowd, showing anger toward the network's decision to call Arizona for Biden on Tuesday night.

The two situations arent the same.
