I let my dogs out in the yard whenever they want. Theyre never out longer than 20 minutes before they're begging to come back inside and sit on my lap.

What makes you think my dogs aren't happy? Dogs that are well fed, walked on a leash to keep them from running into traffic, played with, taught hunting.

Unless you are abusing your dogs, they are really fucking happy. We are their gods because they've been bred that way.

Brithish bulldogs can't give birth on their own. They die, without intervention. Pugs breathe through "straws" their entire life. And German shepherds have hip injuries, because their back legs "need" to be shorter than the front legs.

Op is mostly correct, most pets are held in cruel conditions and are being bred for appearance and not their well being. Some ppl manage to give them a good life though, props for that. But in many cases it is cruel.
