You don't know what inequity is living in the US, not like the real world does.

Talk to people from the 2nd world and 3rd world who would love to be here in your shoes. There's people slaving fields or in 100 degree factories 12 hours a day just to survive or people walking miles for clean water.

My parents bringing me to this country is probably the best thing to happen to me outside of maybe having my babygirl. If a dirt poor immigrant can come here and survive starting from scratch then you shouldn't be complaining about inequity. There's only a handful of countries in this world where this is possible.

Then I did a lot of lsd over a few years, figured out what empathy was and now I'm basically a radical leftist.

I agree. Obviously that means we should stop trying to improve at all because we're already better than the third world.

Problem is now you cannot even question immigration at all or you're labelled racist. It seems like the entire goal of the Canadian government is to bring in as many migrants as possible without regard to any problems it is causing. Then the same people who support this will complain about high housing costs, lack of housing availability, high classroom sizes, etc.

Well the whole world is moving more left. automation leaves no choice for some degree of extended social welfare, more than what we have now. It makes sense dems will move more left over time, however on a global scale our left is still much farther right of a lot of other first world countries. GOP moving right is a different story

The present Biden campaign is as close to center as I think you can get in modern day America

Moving to the left =/= improvement.

I come from a place that was communist/socialist for a century. You'd think young leftists in the US would listen to people who come from communist/leftist places as to what it looks like in the long term. There's plenty of people from former USSR/Cuba/Venezuela and so on. You think Antifa every engages these people?
