That doesnt make any sense. All empirical evidence points to mail voting increasing turnout. And the conventional wisdom is that high turnout helps Democrats.

What could happen is that the higher rejection rate for mail votes, compared with in-person voting, could tip very tight contests in favor of the GOP. But the margin would probably have to be within something like... 2 percentage points for this effect to come into play.

The people who vote this early are 120+ IQ.

The demographics the Democrats rely on are of a much different category.

Two things that make me think the polling is real.

Pretty much everybody with even a hint of moderation on the forum are strongly in Biden's camp.
All of the liberals I follow have, since the debate, gone from "Yeah Biden's okay but we need to get Trump out" to "We need to get Trump out, but damn Biden is pretty good. Abstaining is not nearly the right thing in this election".
