It'll be a while before a Republican is at the top again. Take the normal brigades of idiots that like to troll here on JSP by playing Hitler's advocate (Ghot, EndlessSky, Excellence, Goomshill, etc.) and just imagine a majority of 20-40 year old manchildren being like that. That's the current state of the "Republican party." They have quite literally almost completely fucked a political ideology by going 100% tribalism with it.
Even my brother, who just had his 51st birthday, claims he is a Republican. But he parrots all the same talking points and memes that you would see here from the group of usual suspects. The only person he fools is himself to be quite honest, and it *is* sad.
He will die alone if he keeps it up, as will all these other quasi-Fascist hyenas still trying to play the tribalism game.
