Kids just emulate trendy stars, musicians, etc.
Didn't watch the movie but i wish these types of films would target and call out the actual culprits of why society is this way not just generalities. Did they do that? Did they talk about rap culture and how that distills down into what kids do?
Like wtf do you expect when people like Cardi B, Nicki Minaj, etc are idols for so many kids?
had the film stated after WAP came out they may have.
rap stars are a bad influence but overall i think beauty pageants, instagram bikini models, and fashion models are more to blame here. as well as pop stars like Ariana Grande and Britney Spears.
i also wrestle with a solution to giving women direction of their own fashion and showing off and how to stop children from doing the same. i would never date or especially marry a woman who was too provocative, but im fine with women doing it, and not just for pervy reasons.
but this is the fundamental issue with coming of age, kids want to try cigarettes, want to drink a beer, want to experiment sexually, want to swear, etc. animals all follow this same path, young animals learn how to be an adult by emulating adults, and its a fine line to stop this. you dont bring lion cubs on the hunt, but you teach them to hunt each other.
