I just followed it on Twitter but seemed like a good night, apart from the inevitable awkwardness of not having it in person. They focused on Trump's failure to address COVID and racial justice, appealed to both progressives and disgruntled Republicans, then Michelle Obama had a quite moving speech where she said what many people are feeling. Trump just isn't up to the job. Funny that she used "it is what it is", taking Trump's ridiculous line on COVID deaths.

so is this convention just a parade of losers screeching about SJW themes - racial justice, income inequality, and orange man bad?
this thing is pathetic so far
not inspirational at all. it's very dark.
Making the election a referendum on Donald Trump is clearly the right play. Not the way Hillary did it with the endless focus on his horrible character, but rather focusing on his failures as president.
Also, this seems tough for people here to understand... the DNC isn't trying to appeal to Trump cultists. If you guys watch and think the message is appealing, they're doing it wrong.
