so yeah a few things:
its confirmed its charges stemming from nothing more than her family 'holding' her mother and taking her $50 phone and destroying it
her mother confirmed she told the police she did not want to press charges and wouldn't cooperate as a witness
the prosecutor claims he had no idea who millie weaver was and there's no political motive
what kind of batshit insanity leads to felony charges and a grand jury being impaneled over something so trivial? I've known people who had a hundred combined minor scuffles or domestic incidents worse than this and just get over it, make peace on their own. Let alone asking police for a peace violation, let alone a misdemeanor, let alone batshit insane felony charges.
Am I supposed to feel more, or less, concerned? Is the claim it wasn't' a politically motivated hitjob supposed to make me feel better, that prosecutors could railroad some random citizen over something so trivial despite nobody but the prosecutor thinking its a big deal? I might prefer the political conspiracy narrative since it makes more sense. Does the prosecutor think this makes him look any better? Why the fuck was he pursuing these charges then?
sounds like a black man and some hedge trimmers
