i didnt say anything about legality and morality, thats a different matter. either way, its a fact that if you break the law you are putting yourself in danger of a confrontation with the police. if you choose to not cooperate, dont be surprised when the confrontation goes south.
I was beat up by a german cop. Was a smart ass young american GI being a drunken dick and said something like "don't be such a sour kraut". I thought it was hilarious. He hit me with a club, arrested me, and my commander had to come pick me up, and he gave me an article 15, which put me on house arrest to the barracks, extra duty until midnight, and restricted my pay, all for a month.
I have another cop story that resulted with me bailing myself out of jail for not going from my front yard to my house within three seconds. I was right in that one though.
