Anyone from a conservative area knew Trump had a chance. Once Hillary got the nomination I knew it was over. They were telling us the Clintons were Satanists who ran child sex rings out of Little Rock in Sunday School back in the early 90s. That well had been poisoned for decades.

have to agree, my buddy from rural Oklahoma called trump winning even before he got nominated, then doubled down after he got the nom. i bought the idea of a silent trump vote, just didnt have any idea how much girth was there.

That girth gaped America.

I watched TYT until mid 2015. Once the general started they just got super annoying, but during the primary and early into the general Cenk constantly said that Trump was going to win. Usually something like "I travel all over the country for this job. I've been to every state this year, and everywhere I go I can't find a Clinton supporter, they're all voting for Trump"

Michael Moore was equally plugged into rural america and saw the rise coming. People got so used to writing him off they forgot every 10 years or so he hits a nail on the head and really gets it right.

I remember watching a video shortly into 2016. A guy with a "model" to predict presidential wins who predicted a Democrat loss. He said some of his methods are like having a foreign policy win, jobs numbers, etc. etc.

Anybody remember? Anyway I'm thinking about his "factors" and I can't really name one that Trump has going for him.
