I listened to Ben Shapiro and apparently its very easy to not be in poverty

The central idea was:
'Just have a good paying fulltime job and you wont be in poverty, LUL'

There are just people who are not willing to participate in our fine capitalistic system. There is A TON of free resources available in any of the western countries at least.
There are countless of stories of people who had the worst hand dealt to them yet they still managed to escape poverty.
So unless you are living in places like North Korea or Somalia etc or some serious condition that physically or mentally prevents you pretty much have 0 excuse.
I know people who cant read or write properly who are making money hand over fist just because they don't give excuses and simply get off their behind and do it.
This is not even funny the bank interest loans are soo damn low If you just put together a few ideas for a business plan its like going to rob it without a mask its criminal not to take these opportunities that are so abundant if ppl just bothered to even look.
Don't even get me started how much special government/community incentives there are for minorities these days.

How hard is it to escape poverty really? Was reading through this and had some thoughts

https://www.listenmoneymatters.com/why-it-is-so-hard-to-escape-poverty-in-america/

But if through an accident of birth, the cards were stacked against you, you’re in for a long, tough slog. Escaping poverty isn’t out of your reach but you are going to have to do absolutely everything right. The passes to say nothing of the endless perks afforded to the lucky ones will not be afforded to you.

If you get caught with a joint, you’re going to be arrested and likely end up with a criminal record, especially if you’re black or Hispanic. No affluenza defense or acquittal for you. If you don’t have the grades to get into college, no fake crewing background wrapped up in a $500,000 bribe is going to change that for you.

...

The articles makes an issue of drugs, bad grades and health care access and my thoughts are what's so hard about not doing drugs and focusing on doing well in school? As for healthcare i dont think it ought to become an issue until a much later age so that wouldn't explain why young people can't make it out of the ghetto by the time they're in their 20s.

To me the biggest factor to success is drive, it doesn't matter who you are if you have the drive to succeed and the ability to put yourself first as long as you are healthy you can get there.
Get out of the inner city, go out into the rural areas and find a trade, mining is good.. Then save your ass off, work until you own your home then keep saving, find a reputable investment broker and have them set you up.
It is not easy to escape poverty but with enough drive you can do it, and with good advice you can set yourself up for life.

Take out student loans like the working/middle class is forced to do.

Not worth it, better off getting a trade.

True that. Too bad unions are dying tho. My buddy was a health studies major and ended up working at home depo after college because he got a useless degree. He ended up learning a trade and now he works for a gas company in a unionized environment and plumbs gas meters and works on HVACs and stuff. He gets paid about 100k to just sleep in his van, do an occasional job, and gets offered OT to just sit in his van when the weather is bad outside.

He’s going to buy a house in his working district so that he can just grab his laptop from his van, sit in his house, and just go out whenever he gets called for a job.

Really the only downside to this is that he pigeonholed himself in this company and town until he retires unless he wants to start back at the bottom elsewhere or go into a non unionized environment where he would have a little bit of accountability.

^ This is great advice if you can find work within rural areas. In my state, I've had about 50% cost of living reduction from moving rural, and income only dropped ~15% with rural market rates. On the flip side, this has been some of the hardest advice for me personally to follow when I moved away from the 'ghetto'. While some of the families there are finically poor, they are rich in spirit, tradition, etc. Like a strange guilt trip thing that happens.

How hard it is to escape poverty in two easy steps.

1) Stay away from crime and drugs, instead work even if that means flipping burgers or picking fruit.

2) Don't fall for loans but save up the money you worked for.

There. You don't even need good education but being healthy will obviously help a lot.

It's up to the individual to make the right choices and if you follow this route you can't fail. Don't blame your situation on others and don't gamble your fucking earnings away.

You can't talk about poverty unless you've the experience.

You are describing what it is like to fly as a bird.

I'm sure you can't talk meaningfully about racism without experiencing it either.

Why don't you tell us how to handle our menses? Lol

Or how you deal with the disparaging voices you hear due to schizophrenia?

Describe how Hellen Keller experienced masterbation?

Its real easy to slam dunk, just jump into the air and put the ball in the hoop with your hands.
