The holiday best wishes in internal emails dont affect a corporation's audience or bottom line.
Schools and city halls wouldnt rename holidays and traditions to accommodate the migrants among them if there werent at least some of them who call for this kind of cultural accommodation.

All these Catholics preach about the Bible and "muh way of life" but only 15% of them practice their faith weekly. 49% of Catholics attend Christmas mass, 39% hardly ever attend (So let's say twice a year), and 20% never attend mass. I'd put a strong bet on a higher percentage don't even pray at home or follow the teachings of the Scripture. I know this first-hand as I was raised a Catholic and my family considered themselves such but never followed the teachings. It's just some old "heritage" that people grasp onto to validate their beliefs instead of using critical thinking, morality, and ethics, to create their personality and belief system. I don't hold this view just on Catholicism also - I hold it with all religions. I think there needs to be a separation of Religion from every other aspect of people's lives. Get it out of schools unless you're teaching a world religions class that explains the theological beliefs of all religions, get it out of our Parliament, get them to pay proper taxes as all organizations do, and I guarantee you'd see an even larger decrease in religious beliefs.

Thankfully the percentage of Canadians who follow a religion is decreasing as the years come.

Majority of Canadians aren't Catholic. Why are we still expecting everyone to drink the Catholic Kool-Aid? I also think that if people are so reliant on religion to define their "culture and heritage" then that's pretty sad and one dimensional.

Canadian culture and heritage goes further than just old-school Catholic virtues and values.
