First bold: Yes that's what I said in OP. And I posted a vid from 2013 but it's been going on for much longer.
Second bold: Butthurt? What I point out in OP is that EU PARDians very eagerly point fingers at US immigration policies while we now have proof of the EU facing colossal issues of it's own. You haven't explained to us why we should take the EU's critique on US' immigration even serious.
Let alone that you explained how taking such a position is even morally acceptable when the situation in your own countries resemble modern slavery.
Try again and try harder this time.
try what exactly? i am highly critical of this specific situation going on in the country i live in, and have been so for years. that does, however, not mean that i'm not well aware that similar problems exist literally everywhere else where capitalism rules, or that in america for example that isn't limited to specific industries and migrant workers, but that the average american worker is much closer to this than most europeans, who enjoy significantly more protections against exploitation.
again, this is in no way trying to justify anything, i'm just trying to explain to you that the existence of this problem does NOT mean one can't point out how much worse the situation in the US is, which seems to be your main goal here, confirming my suspicion from earlier (not that it wasn't already blatantly obvious).
if you're just triggered that this subforum is mostly concerned with american politics, you can simply try to change it. maybe some of your fellow countrymen are eager to learn more about the world, but apart from trying to bash other countries based on a hilariously limited amount of knowledge about them, mostly based on ignorant stereotypes, i have seen little evidence of that.
still, i welcome topics like this - even if they were made for the wrong reasons. you just have to learn that criticising a specific thing in a different country does NOT imply approval of every single thing happening in your own country. that's just poor reasoning in order to create some 'moral' conflict or 'double standard' where there clearly is none.
you're just a triggered boy who can't deal with the fact that their country is being criticised - and by a FOREIGNER at that! reminds me of that jim jefferies bit about gun control. really funny how prevalent that particular issue is with uneducated americans - one of the side effects of jingoism, clearly. here's some piece of advice, kid: you are NOT america, you're an individual. try to understand the difference, maybe it'll help you grow.
