HLD is largely full of priders, moders, and other bullshit. im sure there are some friendly communities but every time i hope in an LLD game it's GM duels and lots of really nice dudes to play with. a lot of more unique build options as well, everything dies to a few hammers in HLD so everyone makes hammers. i know theres more options but pub games have 3-4 hammerdins all using juvs and hitting sne. i prefer tvt with gm guys.

Best time I've had in recent years was when Blizz did their last bot ban patch which cleaned out almost all of them for 4-6 months, and played classic ladder east. Managed to get into a game with Goomshill before I realized he was a ParD OG. Chaos runs first day, l33t rares, ladder xpac kids paying top dollar.

Citizens arrest is bulllshit when there is no clear-cut crime, and there wasnt; or imminent danger of bodily harm, which there wasnt either.

You had a young dude who at the very most committed a nonviolent and very very minor crime, and some self-important hillbillies shoving a shotgun in his face trying to kidnap him.
If I had been in his shoes, I'd also have preferred to fight too. Better than waking up in Zed's rape dungeon, getting a red plastic ball rammed into my mouth before being bent over ....

Agreed.

Cops can get charged and convicted. And there are bad cops and bad cops that do deserve to get convicted. And they do get convicted.

The reason why other cops don't get convicted lie in the unique position that they hold and the general public doesn't understand that because they know little of what it is like to be in a position where you have to make use of force decisions in split seconds with limited information.

A lot of people can't fathom the idea of this, for some reason. You have to look at the information an officer had at the time of the incident, if they acted in good faith and if there was legitimate concern for their life or the life of others.

They're granted special protections because of that and rightfully so.
However, those protections only help in specific situations.
