I have a lot of questions about religion, and I would love if people could give their input on them.

I was raised muslim, but the older I get, the less religious I become, because religion just becomes more and more unrealistic/irrational.
In most/if not all of the 3 large religions, homosexuality is a huge sin. I myself am not gay, but this does not make any sense to me.
Why would God create these "homosexuals" if it's a so called sin? Are these people destined to burn in hell, simply for who they were born to be?

All 3 of the large monotheistic religions, aka the religions with "God" in it (Islam, Christianity and Judaism), claim to be the 1 true religion -
So (forexample) if Islam is the 1 true religion, does this mean that the billions of christians and jews will burn in hell? And vice versa?

Lastly - "Jesus" exists in all 3 religions. He's the "son og God" in Christianity but according to Islam he is actually not the son of God, since God has no children.
However Jesus is still a "prophet" in Islam. Christianity and Islam tell 2 different stories about who he is. That must mean, that 1 of the religions is obviously wrong -
which means all credibility for that religion being "the 1 true religion" is lost.

If you claim you have real answers to these questions, let me know since I'm by no means an expert on this subject.

First and foremost, being a homosexual is NOT a sin.
It is the ACT or PRACTICE of homosexuality that is an abomination to God. What they do in the bedroom behind locked doors is the sin.
Having love and compassion for another person (who may be the same sex) is not a sin.

Secondly, homosexuality IS a choice just like most things. It may feel real good to do those types of things, but you still have a choice NOT to do them or just do them.
Same as people can choose to remain a virgin until marriage or give in to their desires and "play around". Totally a choice, not a disease or genetic mutation.

The bolded part is what gives it away.

Religion was invented by man. They didn't make up the rules to please their god; they made them so that they could keep people oppressed.
If religion was truly about faith and belief, then a rule like this would not exist. If you're forced into a certain belief by others, then that belief is obviously not genuine, and if a god existed he would know that.

There is nothing that proves that God does/doesn't exist. But all religions are equal in the fact that they are 100% horseshit and only exist to keep the plebs oppressed.

I understand your view.

But could it not be that God exist and we have recorded some genuine bits of His fingerprint, but some of man's faults was intervened with the truth? Jesus called out the hypocrisy of the established Pharisee order back in the day of year 0. He offended everyone with his radical ideas, the way he took side of the oppressed. He called the prostitutes, tax-collectors and poor fishermen, the outcast of society to be the His sheep to inherence the Kingdom of God, to be saved. He stood against the Law of man and revealed the truth of God to a blind people, that faith in Him is all that it took. That He would do what we couldn't.

So yes, much religion is invented by man. As some might say, the catholic church has done what the Pharisees did back in the old days, bringing with it hypocrisy and self-righteousness. This doesn't disprove God, but only shows the depravity of man.

You might say there is no proof for God, I would say there are plenty of reasons to believe. It fulfils every hope and desire of your being, all your longings and hopes for this life. It gives you an identity, that you are a child of God created in His image. That is your origin. God gives you the answer to your destiny, that life is not meaningless or hopeless, that death is not the end. It gives answer to good and evil, morality. That life isn't random, but there is beauty and awe-inspiring realities we can hardly grasp. There is love, a pure kind, that God is providing for all His creation. When you surrender and accept Him as your Lord and saviour He will reveal Himself. His Holy Spirit will convince you. Origin, meaning, morality and destiny. And for what reason do we have to believe and not just have blind faith? Besides His Holy Spirit there are the wonders of the natural world. The universe had a beginning and there has to be a first uncaused cause. Imagine something else than God that could fit the description and by your own intuition you know the answer. Look at the complexity and beauty of this world, the trees, animals, a new-born baby. The fine-tuning of the laws of physics. Everything is yelling in your face that something unbelievable is the Creator of these things, yet your inner being is in rebellion against the truth. Surrender and you will find peace.

im surprised to see a somewhat decent response here. i disagree on a few minor details, some of which i think you just misspoke, but overall i agree. gay urges are no different than any other forbidden urges like killing or having sex with your neighbors wife. its not the urges that make you a bad person, its acting on them. its all tests to overcome, and everyone has different tests according to their needs and abilities.

now, if only you liked decent scotch... ;)
