Speaking from a totally selfish point of view, I'd like the countries in Europe to remain as the were... separate entities.
Europe with it's age and differences was the best tourist trap the world has ever seen.
One plane flight and you could get in vacations in 10-20 different countries. That's not really possible anywhere else.
I think that is Europe's strongest attraction to the rest of the world. I think that is what Europe should TRY to excel in. Go with your strengths.

why would it matter if they're different or the same countries? u can still do a London > Paris > Berlin > Rome trip any time u want. also being in the EU doesnt change that they're different countries.

also now after Brexit you can't come straight into Britain as easily as before, so by splitting they made international EU travel harder.

what an odd post.

I'm confused, you say they should be as they were, separate entities, but then go on to talk about an advantage that only exists because they have free movement of people under the EU. Can you clarify what you mean?

lol yeah, idk wtf he's on about. the EU didnt change what he said, and brexit did. but he's pro brexit. just baffling.

lol came here and read these then fucked off.....

its not just freedom of movement, its also the common currency within the eurozone which makes life much easier for tourists. it was also mainly the EU which forced cellphone companies to drastically reduce their inflated roaming prices.
if there's one area where the EU has had an almost exclusively positive influence, its tourism.

I think the EU could have freedom of movement and common currency w/o all the other crap.

Butthurt Eu is the reason they'll likely get a worse trade deal. The UK will be better of negotiating with other parties

wow, just... wow! i have a question: are you just trying to up your post count, or is this some kind of 5D troll game, where looking like a total buffoon means 'winning'? i mean, you can't possibly expect anyone to read that and go 'yeah, that dude is informed and he's right about this'...
seriously, the ignorance displayed concerning even the most basic economic principles, and political mechanisms concerning the EU, is off the charts. you're so hilariously wrong, that even ghot's braindead drivel looks sufferable by comparison...

you say that, but the USA is clambering for partners to offset Chinese tariff trade issues. we'd happily subsidize them im sure.

I sympathize with nations who wish to remain sovereign, or regain their sovereignty, but I care most about American interests. How does this help America?

you will be dealing with a nation in a much weaker negotiating position, meaning they are likely to (and already have) make major concessions in upcoming trade deals. concessions (in regards to food safety standards for example) that the EU was in a position to reject. the UK alone will not have the leverage to do so. trade with the brits will be much more beneficial for the US now.
