Trump's approval rating among registered Republicans is at around 90%. Voting for his removal would be career suicide for these Republican senators. There are maybe 2 or 3 who might get away with it - but Democrats need 20 GOP senators to break ranks. And that's only if Doug Jones and Joe Manchin, two Democratic senators from states Trump won by over 20% in 2016, stay with them.
