yes there has been issues with hindus and muslims since many years you're right there but those are the old days, people are also friends and have been for many years(hindus and muslims)
the terrorists groups which you've mentioned have nothing to do with India, yes they're muslims but you really can't throw the entire race under one type of people then, not everyone is the same, those people are the scums that doesnt mean everyone is like them, very recently supreme court have announced a decision on a case(Ayodhya Case Verdict) in India in favour of hindus where muslims didn't protest but accepted it gracefully(What happened here is a fight over the land where a mosque was build and hindus destroyed it saying that the land is their as it belongs to them because its a birthplace of one of their god)
