When the Tree of Life synagogue was attacked by a lone far-right anti-semitic gunman, the community stood with them, opened their doors, held vigils and provided free services. Everything from food rescue to trauma counselors to therapy dogs were onsite within hours and days. Maybe its a routine spectacle in an era of so many public mass shootings, but its noteworthy when you contrast it to how when these Jews were gunned down in a Kosher bodega by a group of far-left antisemitic attackers, the crowd gathered to heckle the dead, justify the slaughter and cheer on the shooters.

The Mayor is now saying that based on the evidence and video of their approach, it appears the shooter's original target was the Yeshiva school with 50 children inside of it, which was attached to the kosher market.


It seems like they had a larger terrorist plot in the works that was disrupted when the homicide detective recognized their vehicle from the murder they committed that weekend.
We still know basically nothing at all about why they murdered the 34 year old white guy, and probably never will since the only witnesses were the killers and they're dead. It was presumably just a hate crime against him for being white, but he might have stumbled onto their preparations for the terrorist attack and got murdered for it just like the detective.

its unclear exactly how the shooters wound up in the store instead of the school, the doors were right next to each other. It appears the door to the school was locked, he first fired through and it tried the handle but didn't spend more than half a second attempting it before going into the store instead. He didn't try to force his way through the door, unlike the anti-semitic mass shooter in Germany who got stymied by the security measures.

Wow that sucks, i was thinking about some random US mass shooting, classic, random one.

Hopefully it not ended in a bloodbath, must be fucking sick to kill innocents civilians whatever is their religion.

It's just another crazy mass shooting in the U.S, not much victims hopefully, and a bit exotic on the motives.
