Let's toss in the "How many men" Conundrum to really get this going.

If some random man on the street comes up to you and takes your car without your consent, Most people would consider this theft.

But what about 100 men in a gang, is it still theft?

what if 1000 men get together and create a system without your consent and vote, letting you vote as well, but the majority want to take your car. Is that still theft?

What "Number of men" constitutes a valid seizure of another persons property if they're in the minority.

I'll take the position that taxation is theft but that it doesn't matter and the government should continue stealing because we like the result and the ends always justify the means.

What are you going to do to stop them? Authority is derived from force after all.

Force aside, Is it still stealing? That's the question.

Anything is stealing depending on how you define it. "Is taxation theft" is an easily answerable question once you define theft.

No. I'm only asking that question.
