You really shouldn't be talking about topics that you don't know about. You are even arguing against something that a lot of studies have proven. Even my most liberal professors have taught me as I have said it. Even my mentor teacher countered the ideal of safe spaces within her own classroom to her students, in a more aggressive statement than I just did.

In case you didn't see my edit, a good way to learn doesnt mean the only way to learn. You can learn by listening and if you think you cant then you have no place in education.

Learning by listening is shallow learning. You can learn many ways but you won't be the best learner (or teacher) if you aren't participating or practicing ALL of the HLTP at some point of time. You are doing what we are talking about right now.

My statements are not in conflict, and the reason you cant see that is because you take an adversarial approach instead of a collaborative. That's how I know you dont grasp what you are talking about. The methods you are talking about are not debate style arguments the way you think they are. Argumentation can be collaborative and thats the style you should seek to have both in and outside of the classroom.
