They keep getting closed because someone's a little bitch and keeps reporting them, including this one, which is a very legitimate topic.

As with all gambling let the people do it and put protections in place for those that cant handle the temptation responsibly.

As with all health concerns, let the people do it but educate kids from a young age on the dangers associated

Net negative in society but wouldn’t regulate if people choose to gamble.

The people who mostly buy things like lottery tickets or scratch offs tend to be working/poor class. Between a pack of smokes and a 6 pack and the tickets they’re 30 dollars in for the night.

Let’s say they do this once or twice a week and that’s 100-200 dollars a month. Compound that over the next 30 years and that’s an okay retirement nest.

Obviously not everyone thinks like this or is disciplined enough to follow through but knowing how many people live paycheck to paycheck and knowing how few actually have retirement savings this shift in savings alone would be monumental.

That was kind of tangent. Sports betting is a different demographic but they somewhat overlap. I’ve done it before and it’s interesting but would never put real money into it.
