You guys forgot to mention about how everything he sells, and the cost of staying in his hotels, and of buying membership in his clubs, all doubled in price when he became president...

the excuses from the usual trump shills are cute, you're completely missing the point though. no one denies that there WAS and IS a massive swamp in washington. lobbyists' and special interest's influence would probably have reached new hights under clinton AS WELL.

what you are missing in your usual apologetic whataboutisms, comletely selling out your alleged ideals, is that trump ran on a platform specifically targeting this swamp, pretending he would do everything in his power to do away with it. but hey, who cares about it, right? whatever your cult leader does is just fine by you...

There is a billion articles out there that have a billion negative things to say about Trump. The way they framed this legislation is discriminatory. The premise here is not that hey the federal government is spending too much public money and we need to be cost effective rather hey, Trump is making money due to all these reasons so let's try to discriminate against his business because he shouldn't be benefiting as president.

They could of been smart about this and said, okay, federal officials, traveling for business or whatever get allotted x amount of $ which would essentially exclude Trumps pricey hotels but it would also exclude his competitors in a similar price range. Instead they just go after Trumps business revealing that this isn't actually about saving money but just to damage his business/reputation.

i can agree with that, they could've eliminated excessive spending easily by targeting the expenses themselves instead of singling out his businesses

Herr Henrich Goebbels are you addressing someone specifically or are just being rhetorical?

Obama was full of shit with his "change" slogan, Trump is no different than the rest of the politicians and others that preceded him.

kek
surely this is the end for drumpf, any minute now they will wheel in (C)linton and Jeb! to take over the executive branch and all the lefty losers here will finally have the president they always wanted (whos currently right now hawking a book blaming everyone else for her remarkable defeat in a landslide to President Trump)

A landslide? Might be a mild exaggeration. Don't see how you can lose the popular vote and have your victory be called a landslide.

That is irrelevant though. Just like your entire post history. Just sarcasm and deflection. No attempt to defend against the charges levelled at the man you claim to support. Because you know there is no defence and the only way you can continue to pretend you're superior is to ignore anything that even suggests you may have fucked up by voting for a moron like Trump.

E/ inb4 'triggered lol' being the best counterargument you can think of.

we don't elect our President with the popular vote.

i don't need to 'pretend to be superior' when this happens:

Oh wow, someone asked a creme puff who has to use that boring quote in an argument to go away?

You're right, you don't have to pretend to be superior, it's too unrealistic

Yep. They are just dodging.

The point is Trump is one of the biggest liars in the world.

His supporters, when given these facts, just change the subject, as we've seen repeatedly in this thread. Any time he lies, they just pretend it's fine and start talking about something else (like the "there's always been corporate corruption" posts as if that is relevant to the discussion about Trump specifically breaking his promise to drain the swamp, instead doing the opposite).
